Ingredients:
- Watermelon – Seedless is easiest! Use about 4 cups of cubed ripe watermelon.
- Lime juice – Adds brightness and helps balance the sweetness.
- Sweetener – Optional! Use honey, agave, or sugar depending on your preference and how sweet your watermelon is.
- Water – To thin it out for sipping. Use cold, filtered water.
- Mint leaves – Optional, for garnish or a subtle infusion of flavor.
- Ice – For serving.

Steps to Prepare:
STEP 1: Blend the watermelon
Add cubed watermelon to a high-powered blender. Blend until smooth—this should only take about 30 seconds.
Tip: If your blender isn’t very powerful, you can add a splash of water to help get things moving.
STEP 2: Strain (optional)
If you prefer a smoother drink, pour the blended watermelon through a fine mesh sieve into a large pitcher. Use a spoon to press the juice through and discard the pulp.
STEP 3: Add lime and sweetener
Stir in fresh lime juice and sweetener to taste. Depending on your watermelon, you may not need any added sugar at all!
STEP 4: Serve over ice
Pour into glasses over ice, garnish with fresh mint or lime wedges, and enjoy immediately. You can also refrigerate the juice for up to 3 days.

FAQ's:
Yes! Let it thaw slightly before blending. It’s a great way to make a slushy-style version too.
Absolutely. Store in a sealed pitcher in the fridge and give it a quick stir before serving. It may separate a bit while in the fridge, this is normal.
Totally! You can skip the sweetener altogether or adjust to your family’s preference.
Sure—vodka, rum, or tequila all work well if you want to turn it into a summer cocktail.
