Steps to Prepare Crab Cake Sandwiches:
Step 1: Prep the crab cakes.
If desired, lightly pat each crab cake with very light dusting of flour and melt 1 tablespoon of butter in a non-stick pan over medium heat. (This creates that amazing golden color and crispy crust that crabcakes are known for.)
Step 2: Cook the crab cakes.
Drop the crab cakes into the pan, cooking for 3 - 5 minutes per side, or until golden brown and measuring 160° internal temp. If desired, toast the brioche buns after removing the crab cakes to crisp them up.

Step 3: Build the sandwiches and add toppings.
Spread the Hungryroot Super Special Sauce on the base of the bun and top with the crabcake.
Add a slice of tomato, red onion, more special sauce, lettuce, and the top bun.

Storage:
Refrigerator - Cooked crab cakes can be stored in the fridge for up to 4 days. They can be eaten cold, reheated in a low temperature oven, or over medium heat on the stove.
Hungryroot does not recommend freezing these crabcakes.

These Sweet Potato Super Fries from Hungryroot were seriously SO GOOD. Made with sweet potatoes, chickpeas, and carrots these fries are loaded with protein and fiber! (And they were absolutely delicious with a little cup of the Special Sauce.)
Crab Cakes need lemon. I also recommend serving with a wedge of lemon.
You can, but I highly recommend these. They are light, fluffy, and full of flavor.
The best way I know how to describe the taste of the Special Sauce it is like honey mustard, but better! Richer! Seriously, so good.
