These fall flavor inspired smoothie cubes were frozen into these fun skull ice molds for an added spooky effect! You can freeze them into whatever style ice cube molds you prefer. You can also opt to make this smoothie fresh each time. This recipe makes 6 smoothie cubes, so about 2 smoothies.
What ingredients are needed to prepare Pear and Apple Spiced Smoothie Cubes?

- 3 green anjou pears, diced
- 1 honey crisp apple, diced
- 1 inch of fresh ginger, peeled
- 1/2 cup plain greek yogurt
- 1/4 cup rolled oats
- 2 tbsp honey
- 2 tsp lemon juice
- 1 cup spinach
- 1/2 tsp apple pie spice
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg
What equipment is necessary for preparing Pear and Apple Spiced Smoothie Cubes?
- a blender
- silicone ice cube molds (these skull ones were fun for spooky season!)
How to Prepare Pear and Apple Spiced Smoothie Cubes:
Combine all of the listed ingredients in the base of a blender.
Blend until smooth.
Pour into a silicone ice cube mold and freeze for at least 3 hours.
Place 3 smoothie cubes into a cup with 6 – 8 oz of your milk of choice.
Either let the smoothie cubes thaw for 20 minutes and stir (a good option for working through your emails in the morning!), shake in a jar with a lid (good for on the go!), or blend in a blender for a quicker preparation.
Storage:
Smoothie cubes will keep in the freezer in a freezer bag for up to 3 months.
