When the weather starts warming up all I want are fruity green juices! They give me so much energy and keep me alert all day! And I could eat mango by the pound! This refreshing fruit smoothie is the best of both worlds! Let's make it!

Ingredients:
- fresh spinach and kale: It is a green juice after all!
- frozen mango pieces: You can use fresh as well, but using frozen helps cool it down quick!
- plain Greek yogurt: You can use a flavor if you prefer, but I like plain yogurt in this smoothie to help control the sweetness!
- plant based milk: My favorite is coconut milk, but almond or oat will also work if those are your preferred flavors. (Cow's milk is also just fine in this smoothie.)
- fresh lemon juice: Every green smoothie needs a bit of a wake up with a squeeze of citrus!
Steps to Prepare:
Smoothies are easy to make! Just combine the ingredients listed above in your favorite blender and blend away! (I love this personal blender for making quick smoothies!)

Smoothie FAQ's:
The easiest ways to sweeten green smoothies, if you just can't take the taste of the leafy greens, if to utilize a super sweet fruit like mango, apple, or pineapple. These fruits are often sweet enough on their own to be pureed down into pressed juices, making them a stellar ingredient to ad to your green smoothie. They cut the taste of the kale in the smoothie, which helps a lot of people get over the fact that they're drinking something they'd usually add into a salad.
Easy! Freeze green smoothies and juices into popsicle molds! Every kid loves a popsicle, even if it's green. (Hey, they may even like it better if it's green!)
Add pineapple juice! Adding pineapple juice to this smoothie makes it even sweeter, and helps mask the earthy taste of the kale. It's pretty high in sugar, so do consider that when you're making this addition for your kiddos.
This smoothie recipe is perfect for make ahead prep! Just toss the spinach, kale, and mango into a bag or smoothie blender cup and store them in the freezer. Add the milk, yogurt, and lemon when you're ready to blend!
This recipe is easy to alter to prepare a delicious green juice!
To make this a green juice, omit the yogurt and milk and 1 cup of pineapple juice or water. Blend, run the mixture through a fine mesh strainer, and you've got green juice!
*For green juice, I recommend fresh mango or mango puree, as frozen mango will want to hold a pretty thick consistency even after blending.
